CameraThe camera in DJI Phantom 3 is capable to record 2.7 K videos and capture 12 MP pictures. With this excellent resolution, this drone is suitable to record a simple film scene. The greatest obstacle in filming an aerial scene is the instability of the recording. But it is not something you will face if you use this DJI drone. This drone is very easy to operate so it won’t make unnecessary movements. Moreover, it also comes with a high quality gimbal that adds the stability of the camera. If you need to capture the scene from different angle, simply tilt the gimbal in the direction you want and you will instantly get the recording or picture you want.

You can connect the drone to your smartphone via DJI Go app and Wi-Fi. With this application, you can view the live recording of the drone right from your smartphone. Wi-Fi is definitely not the best way to connect the drone to your smartphone, especially because DJI has incorporated Lightbridge that has more stable connection in their other products. But Wi-Fi is actually not that bad either and you will still get decent live videos with pretty stable connection.Flying SystemDJI Phantom 3 has 3 different flying modes, the P-mode, A-mode and F-mode. When the battery is about to die with the GPS activated, the drone will automatically go back to the spot where it took off earlier. With this feature, you don’t have to worry that your DJI Phantom 3 will crash when the battery is died.
